Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your TEISENDA account to create and manage websites in selected Spaces. A Space is a shared workspace in the app.

What you need before connecting

  • A TEISENDA account that is not scheduled for deletion. You do not need a role in a Space to connect, but the connection can only work in Spaces where you are a member.
  • Claude or ChatGPT. Whether you can use the Connector depends on your Claude or ChatGPT plan; the guides for Claude and ChatGPT link to the providers' instructions.
  • A browser that accepts cookies for mcp.teisenda.com. Complete sign-in in the browser where you started it, within 10 minutes.
  • When signing in with email and password: your authenticator app’s code or a backup code if two-factor sign-in is enabled. If you are already signed in to TEISENDA, you confirm the connection without signing in again or entering a second factor.
  • The Connector does not need a separate subscription: Hosting is already included in every Space on the Free plan.

Then connect in your application: Connect with Claude or Connect with ChatGPT.

The Connector connects your application to TEISENDA

The Connector is a server at this address:

Address
https://mcp.teisenda.com/mcp

Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT call tools in the TEISENDA app through the MCP server. You sign in with your TEISENDA account.

A tool is an action the application can call

A tool performs an action, such as creating a project or publishing a version. whoami shows your sign-in and Spaces; the hosting tools are listed in the reference.

The tools apply the app's permissions and plan limits.

A connection belongs to your account

A connection belongs to your account and applies to the selected Spaces. Under Manage connections you can change or end it; connecting again does not end an earlier connection.

You choose which Spaces the application works in

When connecting, all selectable Spaces and Also for Spaces I join later are checked. Adjust the selection; you need at least one Space or this option.

A draft becomes a version

Files sent through the Connector first go into a draft. hosting_deploy completes the draft and publishes it as a version.

Warning

A newly created draft starts empty. It is not a copy of the published version.

If the project already has a draft, the tools use it: hosting_put_files adds to its contents; an archive sent to the address from hosting_create_upload replaces everything.

If you change a single file through the Connector and publish, the new version contains only what is in the draft.

The Connector gives the application instructions

The Connector gives the application instructions for using tools. The permissions guide explains what TEISENDA itself enforces.

What do the instructions tell the application?
  • The application should choose the Space from whoami or your instructions, and ask when several Spaces could apply.
  • It should check the Space at the start of each result and stop if it is wrong.
  • For the three tools with confirmation sentences, it should get your approval before the second call.
  • To create a website, it should create a project, write files with a root-level index.html, then publish; new projects stay private unless you request public access.
  • It should report reached plan limits and not bypass them.
