Connect the Connector with ChatGPT
Connect ChatGPT to your TEISENDA account and choose the Spaces it can access. A Space is a shared workspace in the app.

Note
You need a TEISENDA account; see What you need before connecting.
Whether you can use the Connector depends on your Claude or ChatGPT plan.
For the manual method, your ChatGPT account must be allowed to add custom servers. OpenAI's guide only says: “Account and workspace policies apply to adding and using custom MCP servers.”
TEISENDA is not yet published in ChatGPT's directory. Add the Connector manually.
Add the Connector manually
Copy this address into the server URL field:
https://mcp.teisenda.com/mcp
-
Open plugins
Click “Plugins” in ChatGPT's sidebar, or open
https://chatgpt.com/plugins. -
Add a custom MCP server
Click “Add” and choose “Add custom MCP server”. Enter a name under “Name”; you can leave “Icon (optional)” and “Description (optional)” empty. Under “Connection”, choose “Server URL” and enter the Connector's address under “Server URL”, including the path
/mcp. -
Choose OAuth and create the plugin
Keep “OAuth” under “Authentication”, read the risk notice and check “I understand and want to continue”. Then click “Create as plugin”. Do not enter credentials.
-
Sign in to TEISENDA
ChatGPT starts sign-in and redirects your browser to TEISENDA. The steps there are described under Sign in and choose Spaces.
-
Use the Connector in a conversation
After confirming in TEISENDA, review the tools ChatGPT found. Install the plugin, start a new conversation, type “@” in the input and choose the plugin. This step follows the English OpenAI guide.
Sign in and choose Spaces
After starting in ChatGPT, complete the connection on TEISENDA's pages.
-
Sign in to TEISENDA
Sign in as usual. With email and password, also enter the code if two-factor sign-in is enabled (Sign in and out). If you are already signed in, you go straight to the consent page.
-
Choose Spaces and confirm
Check Account, App and, if shown, Return to; the application supplies its own name. All selectable Spaces and Also for Spaces I join later are checked: uncheck anything you do not want and click Connect.
The browser then returns to ChatGPT, and TEISENDA lists the connection on the connections page. ChatGPT sees whoami and the tools for products in these Spaces.
Good to know
- With Also for Spaces I join later, every Space you join later becomes part of the connection without asking you again.
- Complete sign-in within 10 minutes of starting it in ChatGPT, in the same browser.
- The connection can only work in Spaces where you are a member.
If something goes wrong
ChatGPT says the connection was denied
You clicked Cancel on the consent page, so no connection was created. Restart the connection in ChatGPT and confirm on the consent page.
You are not a member of any Space.
This sentence appears instead of the Spaces on the consent page. The connection can only work in Spaces where you are a member; see Accept an invitation.
The Connector shows its expired sign-in page
The return to the Connector failed: more than 10 minutes have passed since you started in ChatGPT, you completed sign-in in another browser, or it was already completed. Restart the connection in ChatGPT and complete it within 10 minutes in the same browser.
TEISENDA's sign-in or consent page shows a message
These messages, their causes and solutions are listed under Troubleshoot the Connector.
Update or remove the Connector in ChatGPT
Find the connected Connector in ChatGPT's settings under “Integrations”, “Plugins”. If the Connector has changed, for example because tools have been added, choose “Refresh tools” under “Manage app”.
Note
Removing the Connector in ChatGPT may end the connection in TEISENDA. Afterwards, check the Connected apps page and end the connection there if it still exists, as explained in Manage connections.
If authentication has expired, connect the application again.
