Connect the Connector with Claude
Connect Claude and limit access to the Spaces you choose.
On this page
Connect Claude to your TEISENDA account and choose the Spaces it can access. There is a separate method for Claude Code. A Space is a shared workspace in the app.
Note
You need a TEISENDA account; see What you need before connecting.
The Anthropic guide explains which Claude plans allow custom connectors. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the Connector first (follow these steps).
TEISENDA is not yet published in Claude's directory. Add the Connector manually.
Add the Connector manually
Copy this address into the server URL field:
https://mcp.teisenda.com/mcp
-
Open connectors
In Claude's sidebar, click “Customize”, then “Connectors”.
-
Add a custom connector
Click “Add” and choose “Add custom connector”. Enter a name of your choice under “Name” and the address under “MCP Server URL”, then click “Next”.
-
Choose authentication
Under “Authentication”, choose “Sign in now”; under “OAuth client”, choose “Use Claude's published identity”. Leave the client ID and client secret fields empty. According to Anthropic's guide, these settings cannot be changed later.
-
Sign in to TEISENDA
Claude redirects your browser to TEISENDA; follow Sign in and choose Spaces.
-
Enable the Connector in the chat
According to the English Anthropic guide, choose “+”, then “Connectors” in the chat and enable the Connector.
Sign in and choose Spaces
-
Sign in to TEISENDA
Sign in as usual. With email and password, also enter the code if two-factor sign-in is enabled (Sign in and out). If you are already signed in, you go straight to the consent page.
-
Choose Spaces and confirm
Check Account, App and, if shown, Return to; the application supplies its own name. All selectable Spaces and Also for Spaces I join later are checked: uncheck anything you do not want and click Connect.
Claude shows the Connector under “Yours” as “Connected”. TEISENDA lists it under Manage connections.
Good to know
- With Also for Spaces I join later, every Space you join later becomes part of the connection without asking you again.
- Complete sign-in within 10 minutes in the same browser.
- The connection can only work in Spaces where you are a member.
If something goes wrong
Claude says the connection was denied
You clicked Cancel on the consent page, so no connection was created. Restart the connection in Claude and confirm on the consent page.
You are not a member of any Space.
This sentence appears instead of the Spaces on the consent page. The connection can only work in Spaces where you are a member; see Accept an invitation.
The Connector shows its expired sign-in page
The return to the Connector failed: more than 10 minutes have passed since you started in Claude, you completed sign-in in another browser, or it was already completed. Restart the connection in Claude and complete it within 10 minutes in the same browser.
TEISENDA's sign-in or consent page shows a message
These messages, their causes and solutions are listed under Troubleshoot the Connector.
More questions about connecting in Claude
How does an owner add the Connector on Team or Enterprise?
According to the English Anthropic guide, a member without the Owner role cannot add a custom connector on these plans; the labels below also come from that guide.
Open “Organization settings > Connectors”, choose “Add” and “Custom” (if Claude asks for the type, choose “Web”), enter the address https://mcp.teisenda.com/mcp and click “Add”. Each member then clicks “Connect” for the connector labelled “Custom” under “Customize > Connectors” and signs in as described above.
What other authentication settings are available?
“Sign in when needed” leads to the same sign-in later as “Sign in now”. “No authentication” does not work because the Connector requires sign-in. For “OAuth client”, “Register automatically” may also work; “Use your own OAuth client” is not an option because TEISENDA does not issue client IDs.
Block individual tools or remove the Connector in Claude
Open the Connector under “Customize”, “Connectors”. Under “Tool permissions”, choose “Always allow”, “Approval required” or “Blocked” for each tool (English title, such as “List projects”).
Warning
If you remove the Connector in Claude (“Remove”), the connection may remain in TEISENDA. To be sure, end it on the Connected apps page, as explained in Manage connections.
If authentication has expired, connect the application again.

There is already an entry with this name in the same scope. Keep the entry, or remove it first with claude mcp remove teisenda.
Claude Code shows a message referring to /mcp
TEISENDA no longer accepts the stored authentication, and it cannot be renewed: the connection was ended in TEISENDA or authentication has expired. Open /mcp and choose “Re-authenticate” for the Connector. This creates a new connection in TEISENDA; choose its Spaces on the consent page.
More questions about Claude Code
Which projects does the entry apply to?
According to Anthropic's guide, without the option --scope the entry only applies to the project where you ran the command. With --scope user it is available in all your projects.
How do I sign out in Claude Code or remove the Connector?
In the /mcp menu, choose “Clear authentication” for the Connector, or run claude mcp logout teisenda. With claude mcp remove teisenda you remove the Connector; according to Anthropic's guide, Claude Code also deletes the stored authentication. To make sure the connection ends, end it in TEISENDA, as explained in Manage connections.
Are connectors from claude.ai also available in Claude Code?
Anthropic's guide says yes, if Claude Code is signed in with a claude.ai account. /mcp identifies them as coming from claude.ai. A connector you added directly in Claude Code takes priority if it has the same address.
